So far so good but I've only done 400 gentle miles. Build quality is definitely better than my last 3.7 and the 5 link rear is a big improvement for road use. Russell and Elliot P. specc'd the car and it mimics an early +8 with the 9 stud hood, power steering deleted, sidelights etc. I wonder if we will ever get the opportunity to do another Austria (or similar) trip, Paul?

Stuart - Morgan's price for black wheels is a scarcely believable £2161!!! and they charge £475 extra for the old style 9 stud hood ipo. the easy-up hood.

It looks smashing Don. I admire you for choosing the 9 stud, it’s such a part of the look. I hope we’ll meet up again on another tour at some point

Looking forward to our next trip abroad in the Morgan. We had booked The Stelvio / Lake Garda trip for June of this year. Now sitting on a voucher from Scenic Car Tours which we hope to use next year.

I have hopes that we might be able to go to Italy or tour the Atlantic coast of France later next year if things return to normal in time.

That trip to Austria was excellent - it would be good to see you again on a future tour.

Hi Max5, I am planning to order a Plus Four and am in the process of defining the specs/equipment. This will be my first Morgan after having dreamed about it many decades. On big question I have is where to put the side screens when you drive. The configurator offers a rack with side screen storage but it seems very big and (at least in my view) not complementing well the overall line of the car. Now I see on your posted picture that you have the side screen inside the bag between the spare and a much smaller rack. Is that the other rack that is shown in the configurator, i.e., not he one labeled for storage? If so, does the screen bag fit there without any modifications? If not, is this a different (aftermarket) rack? Thanks for you help. Input from everyone else also very welcome. Frank

Frank - I have a Librands rack which has sidescreen storage, for my Plus Four and a spare wheel - they look fine together and not too bulky at all imho! The factory one is too bulky.
