Under the clouds....
...but not all the time. Fair bit of fog near the coast and low cloud everywhere but still some glorious weather to be had high up on Donside today. Photo art, as ever. Thanks Calum!
I've met Calum a few times and talked to him about photography.
I can point a camera at an object and I capture an image. At the same moment Calum does the same thing and captures a picture of something special.
My son does the same.
It frustrates the hell out of me: occasionally I take a great photo, but I've no idea how.
Good photographers have "something" special, like racing drivers. I can admire, but not rise to their level.

RedThree - Love the portrait image especially. Very atmospheric. Was that cropped or wide angle? It's full frame, no cropping and I used a short telephoto (135mm) lens to pull the background in on what was a very atmospheric day, but as I'm sure I said to Peter, it's all about standing in the right place and pointing the camera in the right direction, everything else is just details!
