Sounds like a great day out. I lived in Kenilwoth between 1980 and 1990. Lovely little town, with some epic pubs (my own local being the Virgins and Castle) I used to take my lad to watch cars going through the ford if it was running a bit deep. . highly entertaining.

I've had the odd half of shandy in the ' V's ' - the ford still entertains, especially when you arrive after a night of heavy rain and find an Audi stranded in water up to the door handles laugh2
