Thanks for sharing your day at Prescot CM.
The Lotus Elan of that era was the first car I lusted after, and was fortunate enough to have owned two over the years, I also came across my first Bugatti at an Ingleston track event, and at the time thought it just a wonderful mix of engineering and art combined.... Great images of the Lancaster too, brought back memories of seeing one below the level of my window as a it followed the river up to the shipyard when they launched HMS Lancaster some years back.... Lots of memories thanks for stirring them up (-:

Prescott on a sunny afternoon is a fantastic venue.
The Lancaster flew fairly low over my house the other week, I was torn between watching it and trying to get my phone out to video it....😆

🇬🇧🇬🇧 Getting the shots of the Lancaster was like a 60's comedy, I'd mistimed the arrival...camera bag over one shoulder, fold up chair over the other AND I'd just bought a Mr Whippy

🇬🇧🇬🇧 Getting the shots of the Lancaster was like a 60's comedy, I'd mistimed the arrival...camera bag over one shoulder, fold up chair over the other AND I'd just bought a Mr Whippy Jon, as there are no smudges on the photos, it looks like the Mr Whippy ended up where it was supposed to, rather than on the lens! Great photos and thanks for sharing!
