Nice! All my track shots were behind the blinking safety fence  That green Ford GT40 is interesting with its wires.....is it one of the very early ones?

Nice! All my track shots were behind the blinking safety fence  That green Ford GT40 is interesting with its wires.....is it one of the very early ones? Yes... 1965 and a prototype for the GT40.

The driver of that GT40 was what could best be described as "somewhat tubby" and his run (jog) across the track at the start was something to see. I should be able to post a photo next week.

Love the C3 Corvette's! I can imagine the thundering V8's sound as good as the photo's look! Ahh those were the days!!

Tym 7 I always try to take my racing shots so that they have a sensation of speed by panning the camera with the car.  All I need now is to add the big Chevy 8 litre V8 sound track.

I can see you have the technique off to a tee!
As a former owner of a '72 Corvette there is nothing like the grumbling roar of Vette (small or large block).
Though, my new(ish), grumbling monster does push it very close!
