At 5000 miles a Roadster tyre is say 1/3 worn, so £60 of value left out of £90 replacement cost, knock off £20 for a repair so the punctured tyre owes you £40, not a lot to pay for peace of mind smile

Never had a tyre cost me £20.00 to repair, thank god i live in the cheap end.

Try £300.00 for a BMW635 Run Flat, 10% worn, £8.00 for repair, thats my maths !!

I'm not against repairs in principle ( I've had Defender tyre plugged at 5000 miles only 1/15 laugh worn) but I wouldn't want to be doing 130 in my Roadster with a plugged tyre and all to save £40.
Fleet economics are driven with an eye on the bottom line, Morgan motoring is a way of enjoying some it spend
