Reading this thread, with great interest, I am beginning to wonder if I am the only one who still uses maps, rather than a Satnav?
Should I buy one, or should I remain happily stuck in the past?
Recommendations please.

Depends how good your memory is. I bought a satnav for the bike when I found that by the time I had put the map away, put my gloves back on, started the bike up and kicked up the sidestand, I had forgotten the directions I had just read off the map! Thats age for you.
