Chaps,
I have read with interest Dave W's guide to making rebound spring boots.
Dave likes to use neoprene and it is a very good material, however try as I might it is not available to me locally.
So I tried a few other ideas.
Then one day in the garage I found an old paint roller refill, a cheap and nasty one that with luck I have little intention of using.
The roller was 42mm wide, and was easy to shape with some tin -shears. I have not given any description on the cutting and measuring as it is pretty straight forward.
The shape of the roller makes it easy to snap on, then a couple of zip ties to retain and the job is done!
All the best
Tony
