Well you may not get a test drive .
Just reading an old Classic and Sports car mag I picked up on Sunday .
It states Autocar wanted to test a 411 S4 phoned Tony Crook and told him we would like to test your car " Autocar he barked , fine" , splendid, when would you like to come down". "Come down?. come down I repeated" . "Yes come down one afternoon and we will give you a run around" .
"Oh" I said , rather non-plussed.
"Actually we usually have a road car for a week. "
" A WEEK" he shouted " they don't lend Concorde to Flight magazine you know!".
They never did a road test . I love the British eccentricity in there.
