I have a sheepskin flying jacket, which I bought from a trade shop in Street (Somerset).
Very warm, very soft, but not at its best in the rain.
The most effective jacket I've used is a superb Rab mountaineering jacket; (though the lovely Lady Budster does not think it suits the style of the Morgan)
Hence the compromise in wet conditions is a brown Barber Bushman coat. Warm and dry.
