Not only the principal energy source - take Pious batteries for example - twice around the world from original material being mined, refined, turned into batteries and eventually installed in cars.
The whole vehicle lifecycle needs to be taken into account, not just the fumes from the exhaust (or not with e-car
). But that is very difficult to tax, hence the totally false system we have now...
