An update!
The problem appears to have been caused by a faultly rectifier.
I'm hoping to collect the car on Saturday, although this is not confirmed 100% yet, I am starting to get excited again!
I must say that I was pleasently supprised by the amount of care that Brands Hatch Motors have shown over a car that was not sold by them. Despite a fully booked workshop, they have managed to fit my car in.
Both SGT and BHM have worked together to resolve this issue, and its great to see that the Morgan 'community' feeling I am getting seems to extend to its dealers as well!
And then I've also had contact from forum members who I've never met, offering help! So thanks to everyone!
Please expect to be bored to tears with photo's of my car, in different places!
Excellent news.... I was at BHM the other day and saw your M3W being worked on. It's a very smart looking motor.
I purchased my Roadster from BHM, they went beyond the extra mile to get me behind the wheel of a Morgan - quite a contrast to the levels of service from various 'prestige' garages I've bought exotica from in the past. I guess being privately owned they focus on the customer much more and actually care about them. Unheard of these days!
Perhaps it's a Morgan thing. There's a definite warmth and trust from other owners I've spoken with.
Group hug anyone?
Kidding.
