Having a Frenchman visiting me on Business last week, our idle chat was obviously how much i liked France and touring with the Max.
He explained to me although now living and working in Lyon, his favourate region is
Poitou Charentes, suggesting that the area around there and mentioning
la Rochelle is favourable in cuisine, the locals and particularly the weather, he remarked that the weather remains a reasonable temperature all year round and maintains a good temperature due to the high pressure coming in to the Bay of biscay....Has anyone ever experienced this area.
