More to the point, thanks for looking out that Autosport comment from Andrew Frankel Charlie, I think he made a very good point, but I don't suppose anyone here has had a quiet phone call from Morgan about the wishbones have they.
It's all very well that the factory are willing to replace them foc, but if owners don't know about it, how can they ask for it, and not all owners are on forums like this or read the motoring press every week.
It seems that that recalls like this are very difficult for small manufacturers, I know that Caterham are having a similar problem concerning the rear suspension hitting brake lines on new cars, and owners are only finding out via the club website, not dirtect from the manufacturer. Frankly, I don't understand the problem, especially with Morgan who have a dealer network who can contact customers directly, after all there can't be more than 300-400 cars out there yet? With litigation being what it is now, I would have thought it would be in their own interest.
