I thought it would remain in the garage all winter but have used it on many dry days since then including several commutes to and from work of around 20 miles into central London. Of course it is not practical when you compare it to my Range Rover Sport but how much fun do you get from driving a normal car? The first thing you must get used to are the hooting, smiles, laughter, photographs, conversations from other drivers, motorcyclists, pedestrians and especially young children who think it is something out of Harry Potter.
You get given space and courtesy from other road users who want to get a better look and it does take time to organise yourself before you drive off and stop........tonneau, gloves, helmet, ear protectors, goggles etc. It also appears to use up a lot of petrol because you hardly get out of 3rd gear. You also need to be careful where you park because of no bumpers and no alarm system for anything inside. It has been totally reliable and the transfer box is now virtually silent and the build quality is excellent.
I swopped it for a wonderful Triumph Bonneville that I never used, I have had more than £35,0000 of in the past 25 days which is what my version cost me with all of the Allon White dealer extras (heated seats, storage pockets). All in all the best Christmas present I have ever bought myself
