You'll probably find ghosting (rusty outlines)on the disc surface where the pads were stuck.
Sounds like a need for a DaveW Innovation for slipping between Pad & Disc each side when the car is being laid up for Winter? - Complete with Dashboard Note to remind 'Removal before Driving'?
Also, Would a spin/skim with a Fine Emmery Pad not be advisable before the first Spring outing while the car is still on the Axle Stands?
