Talking about legality though......how about the ones stuck on the front wings of Plus4 Supersports? Are they going to get pulled by the police or fail MOTs?
Strictly, yes. Whether they will or not though is another matter. When I put the paint and sticker on Woodstock (in 1989), the rules were different and the only real concern from the policeman I asked was could it be read with the mk1 eyeball at the requite distance.
These days though, no one puts their postcode as a maker on sticker plates so none of them are 'approved'. There were words to this effect on the DVLC site, but as its been revamped, may not be there now.
