I entirely agree with the rub of what you're saying Neil, but the pedant in me obliges me to point out that the power to weight ratio of the roadster is 295 bhp/tonne (or about 270 bhp/ton) . i.e. sufficient (as Rolls Royce always used to say....)

Even my humble 4/4 manages 138bhp/tonne (or 125bhp/ton).
