Classic Morgans are unlikely to ever fare well in a test comparison when the reviewer is making an objective comparison with a modern mass produced vehicle.
The only way it is likely to receive a favourable review is if the tester is able to understand and factor in the unique Morgan proposition which we all buy into.
The M3W is so unique, eccentric, wacky, left field whatever you want to call it, that it seems to avoid these direct comparisons and often receives great reviews.
