Sitting in bed this morning, sun streaming though the window, with the first cup of tea of the day and all well with the world
, the Lady of the House and I were discussing the TV series “Monty Don’s French Gardens”. She was talking about the gardens, but I was more interested in the 2CV Monty was driving. I always wanted one of those (specifically the maroon/black model with the chrome headlights). I reminded her of the test drive we had many years ago, but which didn’t end with an order. “Well”, she said. “it all turned out OK because the Morgan is a bit like the 2CV, isn’t it?”
