You reminded me of something that happened 7 year ago . Yormog had a go kart race against the Yorkshire TVR club . It was indoors in Leeds . The Mog lads arrived like Eric and Ernie to be looked at by the TVR mob in their own racing overalls, boots, gloves and helmets . Well well they had not come for a bit of fun had they ,I paid for an hour and was sharing a kart with my daughter who had never driven one before ( my dad bought me one as a lad , but he was in it more than me ,thats another story ) The race started after we got our helmets that did not fit , off we went I let my daughter drive and she was slow two TVR goons hit her and she hurt her leg came off crying with pain not even a sorry we are out to kill . My turn , I had made a note of who had hit her , it was not long before it came back to me and I was enjoying myself but could not get anymore out of it . The TVR guys had got the best karts then I spotted the two who hit my daughter had hit each other and had stuck each side of the track , the gap was just wide enough to get my kart threw ( I THINK !!!!! ) I went threw, OH it was not and I hit them both , how sad never mind . I had hurt them OH DEAR . I was black flagged , what does that mean . I stayed in the kart for almost 1 hour and I was sore as it was for 20 mins each driver at the most .
We all off to an Indian for a hot curry each .
The following morning the curry worked I looked at the loo paper covered in blood . Oh hell wrang the doctors come up .
In his room jeans down lye on the bed as he puts rubber gloves on . Lift your knees to your chin and say AHA .
I screamed BAST*RD so loud you could hear it in Russia what a pain , it makes your eyes water .
You have burst a blood vessel .
Phew.
All that thumping on my ass had done it .
Two things I learnt.
1/.If your wife says , does my bum look big in this just say yes you will make a great go kart driver .
2/. If after that pain had I turned round to see the doctor pulling his zip up he would now be dead !!!!!!!!
The following year it was cancelled and never done again by was I pleased .
