I had occasion recently to go to our local Ford agents in Christchurch, New Zealand for an engine oil filter for my 2011 +4 and of course none in stock and they couldn't suggest any alternative! I found a similar one tho at Repco who were a lot more helpful than Ford. It seems we are on our own when it comes to a Ford engine.
I count my self very fortunate that the car hasn't missed a beat in its first 4500k. It brings a smile to my face every time I drive it.
After a very hot trip Christchurch to Queenstown (500K) tho I think I need to fit air ventilation in my foot wells as heat from the engine around my bare legs was a bit much. Any ideas?
