I have a regular full check up at Haematology every 6 to 8 weeks.
On top of my regular daily (tablet form) chemo; they "top me up" if required. This usually means about an hour sitting in a comfy chair with a line in, watching the Day Care Unit TV, whilst being served a mug of tea and some biscuits.

Quite relaxing in a funny sort of way.

There is an odd after effect though, known as PCCI or Post Chemotherapy Cognitive Impairment.....
This is obviously the reason why I have just poured coffee into my bowl of cereals.
