Whereas the M3W is undoubtedly a toy, as it has few practical uses apart from enjoyment, I regard my Plus4 as a "toy" too - yes I do drive it always unless I need to have the load bearing ability of our Passat Estate, but I do definitely "play" with it - and get great fun out of doing so!!! Therefore I'm quite happy for someone to describe it as a"toy"!!!

Robbie, I agree; however, I do maintain that if you believe there are degrees of toy - in other words:
Toy <----------------- 0 -----------------> Practical
I believe a Plus 4 is closer to 0 than the M3W. This doesn't mean I believe the Plus 4 isn't a toy but rather, using man logic, that it is slightly less of a toy than the M3.
