time has moved on and things im sure will have changed. but some years ago i used to buy ford cosworths and export them to OZ. at the time there was 100% import duty (this was to protect the oz car indstry "they claimed"). anyway, the way around it at the time was to have someone with dual pasport buy the car over here and register it as there's. memory says it then had to stay in this country for a couple of months before it could be exported. once in OZ the car was subject to 10% import duty and could be sold after 6 months. at that time cosworths were very very valuable in oz. im guessing for the person who can put all the right people together, china could become a nice pension project. Food for thought anyway.
