If anybody likes nautical matters, this year is the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic with +25 warships on the Mersey from all nations.
With the veterans now getting old, this will be the final anniversary and is the reason for so many naval vessels & other activities happening to remember the + 30,000 merchant seamen who perished in the Atlantic.
