Hello, I installed a new Odyssey battery a couple of years ago (the previous was was 9 years old) when I started to get the clicking. With the new battery the problem disappeared but now it's doing it again.
I cleaned all the terminals and electrical junctions I could get to but no improvement. So to start I had to keep pressing the start button for 1-2 mins and eventually it starts; not an ideal situation.
Not convinced that my battery was tired already I thought I'd test it by putting a jump lead from the +ive terminal of the battery to the + block at the front of the engine. The car starts every time when I do this telling me that there's a problem on the + ive side to the starter from the battery. Wings are due off shortly for the annual service so I hope to be able to find the culprit then.
Cheers
