Measure the lower spring height, you may be surprised at how much you gain there if you fit the Suplex system. You may gain as much as 20mm. On most of the Roadsters Morgan have fitted 205/60 R15 tyres. Fitting 205/65 R15 tyres as fitted to the Plus 4 SS) will not only gain you 10mm but, once the car is raised they will fill the wheel arches better. You will have to adjust the speedo.

Then fitting a modified sump will do the rest without destroying the look of the car. Any bash plate under the sump would increase the problem of ground clearance. Carbon fibre is wonderful stuff but is not all that resistant to abrasion and will very quickly be destroyed if it hits humps in the road.

My problem was different in that I could not get down the ramp into my garage. A gain in 10-15mm under the centre of the car was sufficient but also resolved the problem of grounding down on speed humps. I would think that you would not need anywhere near 2" (50mm). That much interference would either have you blocked on top of the hump or with a broken sump, or both.

My recommendation would be to try the Suplex system first, which will improve the car in any case, then investigate fitting a re-profiled sump and different tyres.
