I prefer the narrow bodied, narrow tyred 4/4, as many others do I believe, and I neither want nor need 220-300bhp in an 800kg car based on 40's technology. I would like a little more power if it can be achieved easily - certainly not a TB conversion though.

And I have already made some significant upgrades, which are an investment in the car and also make it more "personal". A Librands exhuast (great), new S/S wires, AVOs (fitted myself smile )new reclining/tilting seats (Allon White - really great - with heated element too!), round mirrors (great), door pockets, clear lamp lenses, LED "Cobra" light. And many minor items and bits of maintenance all of which leave my mark on the car. So my decision was made - she's a keeper and coming soon are the Suplex front suspension and some brake upgrades.

Changing "up" to a good recent plus 4 for example would have cost in excess of £12k.

Nigel: Looks like we have similar (narrow bodied smile ) taste, views on mods and similar upgrades.
