Because there is a lot of confusion about trikes and reverse trikes [to be pedantic], I'm not sure that the bib actually know what is correct, and if they do, and get difficult, the worst that happens is a fine of £30. I would suggest that if the driver who gets 'spoken to' does not argue, they will only correct him/her in the error of their ways. Most traffic cops are car enthusiasts and will want to talk about the car.
