I bought a standard 5 sided 15" plastic trailer mudguard from Indespension in Leeds, cost about £12.
First I removed the aluminium deflector from the swing arm and used this as a template for the mounting holes and width.
I then pared back one side of the mudguard to clear the drive belt and drilled 2 holes to mount using the original bolts.
At the rear, I made up some aluminium brackets, one per side that screws to the ash frame and supports the back.
The mudguard is quite close to the tyre but has never rubbed even when on a bumpy road 2 up.
At the front the mudguard sits slightly below the swing arm and at the back almost level with the bottom of the body.
The exact location was a bit of trial and error though.
Result is no water or muck being thrown about under the boot liner.
Well worth the 2-3 hours effort and 12 quid.
