The other advantage of the liners is that it appears to lessen the road noise inside the car. Having a Roadster which is exceptionally quiet anyway ( compared to a V8
at AJSki2Fly ) the problem of road noise on some surfaces can be quite annoying. The A35 in East Devon being a typical example. The other thing is that you don't get the ping of stones hitting the wheel arches and the possible damage that can do to the wing and paintwork
