Update on the steering damper. Having driven 200 miles with it now I have to say a big improvement, if you want more control and a smoother drive it is a must in my opinion. Apart from removing shimmy issues it controls kick back and the unwind feel when cornering hard and accelerating out of bends. I suspect a benefit for whatever your set up is, whether traditional or Suplex. It would be interesting if someone with Suplex that has fitted a damper gave there views on it as well.
