Just a quick update, the LED's showed up earlier this week.

I'll likely stagger horizontally the midsection to break it up a bit.
I've yet to test out one of the lights, but they have 5 diodes each:
I may be over-doing it with how many LED's I have, I'm wondering. My aftermarket tail lights on my '01 Corvette have a few rows of a similar style LED, though each one only has a single diode on it, and those tail lights are blindingly bright even with a layer of tint vinyl on the housing.
We shall see, I will hopefully get a moment to test out the LED's this weekend between all the other stuff I've got going on.
