Well I've finally gone and done it!

I came to the conclusion last week that what I wanted was a car with bumpers, shiny wire wheels, mahogany dash, spare wheel, rack etc and there was an 'N' reg one in one of the two local dealers (Christopher Neil).

I went up to look at it last Sunday but unfortunately my wife couldn't get in and out and I was having difficulty too with the steering wheel (i'm eleven and a half stone). So that ruled that out.

In the same showroom was a white 2012 Sigma and that was much easier to get in and out of. I had a test drive in it and it was very pleasant so was tempted very much. I thought I'd sleep on it as it looked a little dull with black wires and grill and no spare wheel on the back. It has also been in the showroom a long time, and I suspected it may have been difficult to sell on.

Next day I was about to ring the dealer to put a deposit on it, but first I had a quick check to see if anything new had come up, and blow me there was a lovely 'V' reg one in Life's with all the extras, Connaught green, Simmonds hood too, and the long door for easy access. So I rang up - but was sold already!

Anyway, Dave Life said he had another being prepared, a 2000 'X' reg in Royal Ivory with all the toys I wanted. Went to see it today and it looked like a new car, only 12500 miles and full history. So I did the deed and am looking forward to picking it up next week.

The only disappointment was it has the 9 stud hood :-( but hey the summers disappearing fast and I'll be waiting forever...

So it'll soon be
Colin 2000 4/4 :-)
