I just ordered extra sticky velcro (It was expensive on eBay [can send link] and I used long bits of it, probably overdid it) and that along with the tighter fit (By the time I drew around the originals to make templates plus the thickness of the binding) the job is fine. Not just the appearance but that lovely feel of the pile as you step in.
