Picked up the Roadster from Williams and now back home.....and the rain held off! The grins still on the face...it is very different to the 4/4. I did comment on a previous post about it not really needing Suplex but running over some local roads where the 4/4 with Suplex did not bottom out violently, the Roadster did.....so perhaps once I've ran it for a while....and it's run in, I'll consider it.
I say run in.....it's got 790 miles on the clock and everything still feels tight....inspite of it being a 2009 car!
A couple of small faults, one of the hood front catches has a fractured clip...not stopping the hood going up, and strange whistling sound on the motorway started on way up, from passenger side screen. The Perspex "knob" on the sliding window had dropped out! It was there when I started off!
One nice feature, the cowl badge is the old style with no peeling plastic!
Williams were just finishing off the handover of a lovely metallic blue 2004 Anniversary Plus8 when I arrived. The chaps first Morgan! Great handover and the Williams guys as friendly and enthusiastic as usual. Bud...Richard sends his regards!
I'm rather pleased there are a couple of small niggles to sort out...an excuse to pop back down and see the progress of the 2.5 Duratec engined Plus4 they are building for a New Zealand customer. Should give out around 300bhp!
What is it with blue though? Probably half of Williams stock seemed to be metallic blue in one shade or another!
