I like the idea of a relay. People could do as many or as few legs as they wanted to. Is there anything representative of a baton that could be passed on?
I tried to arrange a Relay this year for 'Help for Heroes'
Lack of Interested Contacts(only 5+me)resulted in my abandoning the idea.
I did the Solo 1000 Mile Rally instead
Mine was 47 County Towns of England with 1 day of collecting at a supermarket (easy to arrange) or Town Centre (requires Permission & a Licence).

I used it for collecting during the 1000 Mile Rally with Two Collections a day it was perfect.
