Gosh, hasn't this idea of a 'canopy' sparked some debate? A complete non starter of course, but a very interesting idea. Well done Fathergoose. Have any of us old farts got the computer skills to put a canopy onto an M3W picture? It would be interesting to see what it looks like.

Like donaldosauris, I also had to drive home from an event, last year in a torrential downpour, but didn't think the car was twitchy or felt as if it was on ice. There could be a problem with yours Micheal, maybe something as simple as tyre pressures too high?

I bought a nylon motorcycle oversuit fom Lidls, which I keep in the back, and wear a helmet with a pull down full face visor, and with the addition of a small towel around my neck I'm almost as dry as in the tintop = well that's a slight exaggeration, but you know what I mean? It stays remarkably dry in the cockpit, and I keep a golfing umbrella tucked down the passenger footwell, for when I have to stop, it all works a treat.
