There has been a previous discussion about this .
The gauge reads zero when about half the fuel is used for me this is around 100miles which I guess is around 160 kilometers .
I reset the trip meter each time I fill up and then refill at around 220 miles when it takes around 36 litres.
As Herman says the capacity is supposed to be 42 litres
