Most go neatly into a small canvas tool roll and then stored on the floor behind the passenger seat; the rest go into the tool tray under the rear shelf.
We have taken the 4/4 to either France or Northern Spain every year for the last 8 years.
Absolutely fantastic trips.
I also carry a hood cover, a steering wheel lock and a wash kit (comprising a collapsible bucket, small sponge and drying cloth): plus warning triangle (2 needed in Spain) and 2 x reflective tabbards.
