I do like the Barnstormer.....but like Peter I am concerned about it bunching up in the car...plus being heavy duty horsehide it may not be that flexible. I originally tried an Irving flying jacket and found it too bulky, especially for getting out of the car with hood up....ok I know the hood shouldn't be up! I ended up with one of Holdens flying jackets which is less bulky. For less chilly days I've got a Holden's leather motoring jacket....the last of their stock a few years ago, found in their storeroom with an old price label on it. They very kindly sold it to me for £150...nearly half price! A shame they stopped making them; made by the same lady in Bromyard who makes the Flying Jackets and in thick but supple leather and just the right length for driving in.
