I suspect that the braking effort at the rear is so low, it is hardly noticeable, after all, one of the worst things to happen on a Three Wheeler, at least any reverse trikes, is for the rear tyre to lock up, especially when negotiating a bend.


As far as different pads are concerned, I don't suppose anyone has needed to change their pads yet. Do we know who makes the calipers?
