I have finally got one...
Now to fit it.
Aha....mine arrived in the post yesterday from Rutters! Opted for the unpainted one which needs a lot of fettling before fitting.
I fitted one to the 4/4 previously and found I had to grind away part of the top part that the roller fits into, to allow full movement. That might have been down to the 4/4 throttle pedal beings tightly different as it was fly by wire rather than cable operated.
I'd say "race you" Peter......but I've got the dash out of the car at the moment to make some mods.
I think Melvin had quite a few on order!
As to fitting, I want to do some fettling and also fill in the "Morgan" with black plastic rather than paint.
Looking back it seems many fitted the thing by nolting it to the floor: this seems excessive: stainless steel wood screws should be just fine. But it does seem to me that positioning of the floor block needs some thought.
I also need to get some carpet edging.
Another task is to fit the air screen behind the seats: I picked it up at the Williams event. To do that means rear wheels off. So a nice weekend "working" on Aldermog. Given the weather a good plan.
