I couldn't agree more BtG, I had a 996 and it was the proverbial 'white goods' - efficient but no thrills. frown

I have never had a Ferrari, but our Masser is now ready to be picked up on Friday so this is our first taste of Italian stallions. It does not need it's first service until 12,000miles or 24-months, and the warranty is for 36-months, so with a bit of luck ownership should be a pleasurable experience. happy3

I'm sure it will be. I think they ahve moved on again from when I had the pleasure.

I loved mine and would ahve another in a heartbeat.
My bank manager would stop me though.

In depreciation and running costs (not inc petrol at 15mpg) mine cost me nearly 30k in 2 years and 20k miles...

Itallian ownership is engaging, but sometimes financially draining.

The aero on the other hand costs a pittance to run, goes faster, looks cooler handles better and has way more class. Plus I can put the roof down.
