Fair enough on the bevel box, it does get a lot of comments. From the amount of posts on TM it would appear that only a few have actually failed the rest have been changed for excessive noise or an oil leak. Mine included on both counts.
As for bump steer have you driven one yet, a lot of people find it ok, a lot don't. It's similar to trad suspension versus modified suspension.
Yes it could / should be better but some like it the way it is. Personally once I've made up my mind which version I'll be changing mine, but if I had a trad I'd change that as well.
