Both the S2 Roadsters I have owned suffered from this problem. On the first car the light would come on every 100 miles without fail. On the second car it is more intermittent but it is invariably the fault code indicates " lambda sensor, slow to respond". After a while it switches itself off so I now just ignore it. If there is a serious problem, the car will go into a "limp home mode" and then it will need dealer attention. The S1 Roadster I had never gave any problem with the MIL light.

Don, exactly the same problem I had. The original lambda sensors Morgan fit age and their response slows. There are two options, either get an OBD reset tool and kill the light or buy new lambda sensors that are of better quality.
