I have been one of MMC,s biggest critics of the bump steer problem that some M3W owners have encountered.I bought my car in August 2012 and right from the off was very disappointed with the lack of response from the factory to my request for help to solve what I saw as a problem. Then in March there is a change in management and also a major change in attitude to customer problems. My car was the first customer car to have the steering comfort pack fitted at the factory.I went to the factory to test the car and was quite stunned that such a simple change in the way the track rod is attached can transform the car into in my opinion is now a total pleasure to drive without any bumpsteer at all. I have since driven the car on all my testing routes round the Yorkshire Dales roads which both demanding on car and driver.I can not fault the steering/handling on all types of road surface.
