Hi Folks,
I need a new set of boots for mainly road use and the occasional track use. Ride and noise are important but I would like a grippy tyre too.
Apparently the Avon ZZ3 tyre is no longer available - that's what I've had on the car from new...
Have been told the Toyo Proxes are rather noisy for road use - does anyone have experience of these?
I like Yokohamas but there are so many to choose from. Does anyone have experience of these? Especially the AD08, or AO48, SS, or Advan Sport V105. This V105 might be quieter.
It's all rather a lottery and difficult to get real useful advice.
Finally, have heard that some tyres can foul the airbox or filter inside the wing so any comments on that would be gratefully accepted!
Clearly the Aero is fairly light compared to other cars typically using high performance tyres. Does anyone recommend a brand that suits lighter cars?
