It would be interesting to know exactly when the engines in the Morgan are overheating i.e. under what speed/load conditions.
I have yet to have mine go into skip fire even in traffic in the summer. Having said that the only time I've been properly stuck in virtually stationary traffic for about half an hour it was on a slight downhill so I just shut the engine down and gently coasted. At least on a bike you don't really get stuck in traffic jams like that.
